MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - A witness in the crash case that killed Lakeisha White will have to give depositions in a multi-million dollar lawsuit filed against Rutherford County.
A Rutherford County Chancellor ruled Monday that attorneys can take sworn testimony from former Fatal Crash Team Commander Sam Campbell.
Last July, White died after being hit by a car driven by former Sheriff's detective Ron Killings.
A $7.5 million lawsuit filed by White's family claims Killings was negligent when he hit and killed the girl. The county has denied those claims.
