DUI Arrest Leads To Emotional Outburst

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Sunday night Chaquetta Carneal was arrested for DUI after police said she rammed her car through a fence at a daycare on Lacassas Pike.

The suspect is related to Lakeisha White, the eight-year-old who was allegedly hit and killed last year by Rutherford County detective, Ron Killings.

The incident report said the "arrestee continued to threaten to assault Officer Wortman and all deputies." The report also said Carneal "stated that we killed her niece."

Carneal was booked for DUI and driving without a license. No one was hurt.

Prosecutors are pursuing a criminal case against Detective Killings for the death of Lakeisha White.
