Convicted Sex Offender Heads To Court

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The man accused of what police have called one of the biggest child porn operations they've ever seen was scheduled to be in court Wednesday, but his court date was canceled.

Jason Pate was scheduled to be arraigned on charges of sexual exploitation of a minor Wednesday, but his case was moved to federal court.

In November 2008, a tipster led police to raid his home where they found several computers filled with so many child pornography pictures that it took them several weeks to go through them all.

Pate is a registered sex offender with a conviction in Michigan back in 1997.

Pate's new court date is unknown.
