FRANKLIN, Tenn.- A Franklin man went to the hospital Sunday, after a lawnmower pulled him into a pond. It happened Sunday morning on Carrolton Drive in the Rosemont Subdivision.
Investigators said the man was mowing a steep embankment when the mower slid into the pond.
His foot got stuck in the springs and bars of the mowing deck. He broke his ankle in the accident, and the lawn mower pulled him into the water until the water was up to his neck.
Vanderbilt flew the man to the hospital with broken bones and hypothermia.
