BAXTER, Tenn. - A woman has been taken into custody after sheriff's officials said she stabbed her husband to death in Putnam County.
Officials with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said Dana Garrett stabbed her husband, Tony, in their Baxter, Tennessee home around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Garrett was arrested and charged with second degree homicide. Bail had not been set.
Baxter is located off Interstate 40 near Cookeville, about an hour east of Nashville.
