CADIZ, Ky. - Trigg County in Kentucky has been dry since prohibition, but Tuesday night voters decided to change that.
The results were, 2,665 voters said yes to alcohol sales and 2,629 voted no.
Many churches came out against the prospect of selling alcohol in Trigg County.
One church even threatened to kick people out for signing the petition that put the issue on the ballot in the first place.
The argument from the other side was allowing alcohol would bring more business, jobs and money to the county.
