
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The National Weather Service issued several tornado warnings throughout Middle Tennessee on Friday afternoon.
NWS issued a tornado warning for Warren County and east central Coffee County until 5 p.m. A tornado warning was also issued for Franklin County and Moore County until 4:45 p.m.
A tornado warning was issued for southwestern Cannon County and Coffee County. The warning expired at 4:30 p.m. A warning for Bedford County and Rutherford County were cancelled.
A tornado warning was issued for east central Marshall County and Bedford County until 4:15 p.m. A warning for east central Marshall County was cancelled.
There was also a tornado warning issued for southern Coffee County until 4:00 p.m.
A tornado warning was in effect for southern Marshall County and east central Giles County until 3:45 p.m.
Middle Tennessee and Kentucky are under a tornado watch until 5 p.m.CLICK HERE for Tennessee and Kentucky counties included in the watch.
If a tornado is spotted act quickly and move to a place of safety in a sturdy structure such as a basement or small interior room.
