Three Accused Of Hiding Capiases In Maury County

Posted:

(AP) NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has arrested three former Maury County Sheriff's Office employees on grounds they hid capiases.

The TBI said in a news release Thursday the capiases were concealed to prevent individuals from being taken into custody.

Agents identified them as 46-year-old Sharon Wells, 51-year-old Patricia Ann Carrington of Culleoka and 53-year-old Jannie Armstrong of Columbia.

Wells and Carrington were identified as jail administrative assistants at the time. They are accused of hiding a court order to keep Wells' son from being arrested.

The TBI said Armstrong was employed in the sheriff's office, and she did the same thing to prevent her daughter from being taken into custody.

All three were booked into the Maury County Jail for charges of official misconduct and tampering with government records. They each have a bond of $25,000.
