
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Two Titans defensive players have been fined by the NFL for hits on quarterback Tom Brady during the Titans' 59-0 loss to New England.
Tennessee Safety Chris Hope was called for roughing-the-passer after a helmet to helmet hit on the quarterback. Despite the hit, Brady threw a touchdown pass on the play. Hope was fined $10,000 by the NFL for the hit.
Defensive tackle Tony Brown was also penalized for making contact with Brady's helmet. He was fined $5,000.
Brady had 6 touchdown passes in the Patriot's lopsided victory.
The league also announced a $10,000 fine on Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco for a uniform violation. The colorful Cincinnati wideout was fined for wearing the wrong colored chin strap. His strap was black.
San Diego rookie linebacker Larry English was fined $7,500 for a horse collar tackle in the Chargers' loss to Denver on Monday night.
