NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Applications go out this week to any Metro students who want to apply for magnet and optional schools.
The applications for the 2010-2011 academic year will be sent home with students, but applications can also be picked up in the customer service center at the Metro school board's headquarters on Bransford Avenue.
Parents interested in having their child enrolled in one of the magnet or optional schools will need to submit the application by Dec. 4.
The lottery will be held on Jan. 9, 2010.
