(AP) NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Titans have signed Chris Davis, a receiver they drafted in 2007 and released in August a few days after he was arrested for drunken driving.
Davis, who worked out Tuesday during the team's day off, had been drafted in the fourth round out of Florida State.
He stayed in Nashville because of an injured left hamstring while the team played a preseason game out of state and was arrested for drunken driving. He was released four days later.
Coach Jeff Fisher said then the reason was Davis' hamstring would not have allowed the receiver to play again before the team's final roster cuts. Davis had played well before his injury.
