Police Arrest Henry County Teacher For Sex Crime

PARIS, Tenn. - Police arrested Thomas J. Brewer, a teacher at E.W. Grove School, on sexual exploitation of a minor.

After seizing Brewer’s laptop from the school and his home desktop, police found child pornography. Police said they also found hundreds of printed out pictures, videos, drug paraphernalia and a pound of marijuana at Brewer’s residence.

Sheriff Monte Belew said as of Monday afternoon none of the images found were that of E.W. Grove students.

Police called the case against Brewer an ongoing investigation.

Brewer was lodged in the Henry County Jail on $500,000 bond. The Henry County School System put the teacher on unpaid suspension.
