SPRING HILL, Tenn. - Maury County Sheriff's detectives said thieves have broken into three homes that are under construction. They have stolen three refrigerators, two stoves and a dishwasher.
The crimes occurred in the Oak Lake area of Spring Hill, and the crooks stole more than $10,000 worth of appliances.
"You know it doesn't affect just one person of the build. It affects pretty much all of us," said concrete contractor Ruben Mota. "It can definitely hurt people's businesses."
Neighbors have reported seeing a red, full-size pickup truck in the area.
"These [the appliances] could fit in a full size pickup truck with the tailgate down," said Detective Brandon Parks.
Anyone with information should call the Maury County Sheriff's Department.
