All Lanes Open On I-40 After Charter Bus Catches Fire

DICKSON, Tenn. – All lanes at the 180 mile marker of Interstate 40 eastbound are back open. All eastbound lanes had been closed for hours Friday evening due to a fire. 

According to emergency dispatch, a wrecker was towing a charter bus when the bus caught fire. 

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said they were diverting drivers to State Route 840. The scene was cleared around 9 p.m.
