Former Shelbyville Youth Minister Gets Jail Time

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. - A former youth minister accused of stealing thousand of dollars from his church will spend the next nine months in jail.

William Charles Lohn pleaded guilty to theft charges on Monday.

Investigators said Lohn embezzled $73,000 from Shelbyville Mills Baptist Church. Church officials went to police after noticing several discrepancies over a three year-period.

Lohn will also serve three months house arrest, followed by 10 years probation. He will also pay restitution to the church.
