NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Managers for Taylor Swift say a "clerical error" was responsible for a link on TaylorSwift.com that directed fans to a scalping website.
Following a NewsChannel 5 investigation, the country sensation's team has been critical in recent weeks of ticket brokers who buy up concert tickets to resell them at inflated prices.
But when fans went to her own website and tried to buy tickets to her upcoming Philadelphia concerts, they were linked to one of those scalping sites.
That website was selling tickets for up to $1,200 a seat.
Managers says a staff member somehow picked up the wrong link when preparing the website for her current tour.
