NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Gaylord Opryland flipped the switch on more than two million lights around 6 p.m. on Thursday. Some 1,000 trees and shrubs are covered in lights for the holiday display.
The flipping of the switch kicked off the annual a Country Christmas Celebration. This year’s theme for ICE is a Charlie Brown Christmas.
Workers began putting up the lights in July.
