CARTHAGE, Tenn.- A local man dropped his wife off at the hair salon then he vanished Friday causing a scary evening for his loved-ones and a busy shift for local law enforcement.
The disappearance of Kenneth Ellis Friday launched a massive search, but it ended Saturday night.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol pulled the 91- year-old man over for speeding Saturday morning in Smith County. Investigators said he was alright, but somewhat disoriented. His wife and family met up with him at the Riverview Hospital in Carthage.
