Search For Fire Victim Comes Up Empty

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Firefighters searched a burning home Monday morning for a woman who ended up not being there.

Five people lived in a home on Delaware Avenue in West Nashville. The residents thought a guest was spending the night when the house caught fire, so firemen searched the home several times.

Turns out the woman had left the home before it caught fire.

The fire started in a back bedroom, and firefighters were able to put it out before it spread.

The fire marshal will be out on the scene Monday trying to find out what started the fire.
