NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A meeting of the minds between Japanese and Tennessee business leaders that could bring millions of dollars to this state.

Over the next few days, a unique conference in Nashville will focus on those possibilities, and it turns out Nuclear Energy is one of them. The U.S. hasn't built such a site in 30 years, but Japan has 29 of them.

"So we have a lot of experience that we could share, and some companies have been starting that in the Southeast United States," said Japanese Ambassador, Ichiro Fujisaki.

Japanese companies employ more than 35,000 Tennesseans, and 160 Japanese companies have spent more than $13 billion here.
