On this episode of the PLUS SIDE OF NASHVILLE, Tuwanda Coleman is joined by members of the Tennessee Justice Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to offering free legal aid to those in need. Join us as we talk to some of its members as well as one father who has benefited from the TJC. Then, Tuwanda is joined by Anne Taylor from the Frist Museum who will talk to us about Making Memories with the Arts, a program that helps trigger the memory of people with Alzheimer's disease. Project Return is an organization that helps former prison inmates return to society, and helps them find jobs. Tuwanda Coleman sits down with Toni Buggs, the executive director of Project Return, as well as Allen Parker Dowell, who is a participant in the organization. Next, we learn about this year's Tennessee Senior Olympics, which are being held in July. TSO Executive Director Christine Dewbre, and TSO Athlete Jay Swafford tell us about this year's 30 anniversary games, how people can participate in the Olympics, and even how people can be a spectator at the games.
