Women trying to get pregnant may want to toss their ovulation kits and check their wardrobes.
In a study released Tuesday, U.S. researchers said women seemed to dress sexier when they were ovulating.
The University of California Los Angeles and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire conducted the study of that found women put more effort into their appearance when they approached ovulation.
The study of young college women found that the women frequently wore more fashionable or flashier clothing and jewelry when they were ovulating.
They also tended to wear skirts instead of pants and wore more revealing clothing.
The research is detailed in the online edition of Hormones and Behavior, the official journal of the Society for Behavioral Neuroendocrinology.
