Sara Evans Leaves 'Dancing' With Interview

Sara Evans was interviewed by Tom Bergeron about her divorce on ABC's Dancing with the Stars Tuesday night.

For the first time since she filed for divorce, Sara spoke about her split from husband Craig Schelske.

"I just needed to take care of my children and I knew that. I knew that nothing in my career, no television show, nothing was more important than that," Evans said

Sara Evans said after finding out information about her husband last Wednesday she had to leave the ABC reality show.

One day before Evans filed for divorce she performed on the show.

"It's very personal and very traumatic. And it was very hard for my children. Things drastically went down hill 100 miles per hour," Evans said.

Evans continued to be vague about her exposed divorce complaint but admitted to on-going marital problems.

"I'm completely against divorce," Evans said. "My intention was to continue to try everything within my power."

Evans said nothing about her detailed allegations printed on these court papers. When she filed for divorce in Williamson County, she cited irreconcilable differences, inappropriate marital conduct and adultery.

She claimed Schelske committed adultery with the family's former nanny Alison Clinton.

I'm a newlywed who's madly in love with my husband. I love Sara.  She's my very best friend.  I would never do something like this and Craig wouldn't do something like this. *cg 2line Alison Clinton

Former Nanny Clinton denies all allegations. Schelske has made no public comment.

"I'm worried about everybody involved," Evans said. "I'm worried about my husband, his family. I'm worried about my family."

Evans filed new documents Monday alleging her husband transferred $274,000 from their joint accounts without her knowledge. She asked for the accounts to be frozen. She also has a restraining order against her husband of 13 years forbidding him to visit their home and three young children.
