Library Books Touch Students at Franklin Road Academy

Teachers at Franklin Road Academy figured out how to get kids to check out every book in their library.

Almost a year ago, the school broke ground on its new library.

The problem was moving the books from the old to new library.

So students formed a human book chain, passing each title to each other between the buildings.

The school set aside four days to move them all by hand.

School officials hope to open the new library Monday morning.

The coed school, established in 1972, serves students in pre-kindergarten through the twelfth grade.
