Janet March Estate Still Under Question

Janet March's murder case is over, but the debate over her estate continues.

March disappeared in 1996. Her then-husband Perry March was convicted of her murder.

But questions remain over her assets. Perry's brother Ron March is appealing a decision where he was ordered to pay nearly a quarter million dollars to Janet's family.

He squared off with Janet's father Lawrence Levine Thursday in the Tennessee court of appeals.

Ron March's attorney Fletcher Long thought the judge's instructions in the trial earlier this year tainted the jury.

The court heard arguments from both sides Thursday morning and took the case under advisement.

It could be months before a decision is reached on whether to grant a new trial.
