Dog Pack Attacks

A pack of stray dogs attacks one man and goes after two others in the Metro Center greenway.

James McGrath was jogging through the greenway this morning when he spotted around 15 dogs. A few started chasing him and biting him. He screamed for help and some people in a building nearby got him to safety and called police. Shortly after he was attacked, the dogs went after another jogger and a police officer. Officer Sunny Park fired a shot to scare the dogs away. He says, "I just wanted to get in my car and get away from the dogs - but unfortunately there was no time for that when the dogs are charging at you."

An animal Control officer was called in. He searched the area for the dogs, but was only able to find two of them.
