Josh Osborne's Amazing Recovery

The name "Joshua Osborne" may not be remembered, but these troubling images most likely are. These are pictures of the boy's body, nearly starved to death by his own parents.

For two years, Joshua claims he was chained like an animal to the bed of his parents' Lebanon home. His weight dipped to a staggering 49 pounds.

Now two years have passed since these pictures and we spoke with Joshua for the first time since then.

Joshua is now bouncing back from his parent's abuse and has new things in life to look forward to. "I'm looking forward to graduation," said Osborne.

His Uncle Michael Barber commented about where he is now. Barber said, "He is at his proposed weight for his height. He's doing great now. His heart is in wonderful shape. His kidneys aren't functioning as well. The conduct and the treatment of this child is what put him in this shape."

Despite the horrible things that happened to Joshua, the boy said, "I don't have hatred. I hope that they can find forgiveness. I hope that they can realize what it is that they've done."

Josh now lives with his Aunt, Tammy Dozier, but he is receives support from so many more people.

A group of motorcyclists that call themselves "BACA" meaning bikers against child abuse are supporting Josh as well as.

The bikers delivered belated Christmas gifts to Josh and his three young siblings.

Now at the beginning of Child Abuse Awareness Month, Joshua is expressing his concerns about other abuse victims.

Josh said, "there's a bunch of kids out there that's being abused and...they're just not being taken care of."

Josh is no longer one of those abuse victims but instead a living miracle.
