Former Vice Mayor Howard Gentry made an appearance at Karl Dean's campaign party tonight, and expressed his support for Dean. Gentry finished third in the August Mayoral election, and did not qualify for the runoff election. He said the numbers show that Carl Dean is Nashville's next mayor, and he wants to support the next mayor. Gentry has taken a position with the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.
