NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Starting Monday, a ban on public smoking will put out smokers in most Tennessee restaurants and office buildings.
That leaves few places where Tennessee smokers can publicly light up without penalty.
Restaurants around the state are doing away with smoking sections, and the state is getting ready to enforce the new law.
A person who knowingly smokes in a prohibited area, will be fined 50 dollars. Businesses also could face fines.
