Free Toy Store Closes Saturday

Posted:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - It's the season of giving and if you're in need there's still help available.

The Last Minute Toy Store at Nashville's 61st Avenue United Methodist Church closes Saturday.

Donations are needed because the supply of toys is low, especially for newborns to 4-year-olds.

For three days this week, parents were able to select three gifts and stocking stuffers for their children.

Each morning, 325 tickets were handed out to the first people waiting in line.

The last day is Saturday. Tickets are handed out beginning at 6:30 a.m.

Parents must bring a picture ID and proof they live in Davidson County. They also have to bring something with their Social Security number on it.

They also must bring a Social Security card for each child and ID cards with their names and ages on them.
