NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A new federal prosecutor with experience in identify theft crimes joined the U.S. Attorney's office in Nashville.

John K. Webb will be the deputy chief for white collar and economic crimes and the identity theft coordinator.

Webb has previously worked as an assistant U.S. attorney in the southern district of West Virginia and also in Los Angeles.

While in California, Webb served as an identify theft coordinator and participated in the Los Angeles Joint Terrorism Task Force.

U.S. Attorney Edward Yarbrough said his expertise in identify theft and terrorism matters gives the district an advantage.
