SWAT, K-9 and Air Units Used To Catch Suspect

ANTIOCH, Tenn. - A late-night commotion at an Antioch eatery had police pulling out all the stops to keep a neighborhood safe.

Police said around 12:40 a.m. two men tried to rob a Sonic on Bell Road. The two men became violent with employees, beating them over the head with a pipe-like object.

The suspects fled. One suspect managed to get away, and the other barricaded himself in a dumpster outside.

Police had to utilize the swat team, canine and air units to get him out. That suspect has been put in custody Tuesday morning, but the other suspect remains on the loose.

Police warn everyone to be careful, because the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
