Woman Leaves Children In Car While Shopping Wal-Mart

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - A Rutherford County woman was in trouble with the law Friday morning after officials said she left her children inside a car while she went shopping.

Mufreesboro Police arrested Catrina Bowen after finding her three kids unattended inside a locked car outside the Wal-mart on Old Fort Parkway.

Officers said Bowen had left her two and 5-year-old children along with her 8-month-old infant for about 20 minutes while she shopped inside the store.

Friday morning, Bowen was behind bars facing three counts of reckless endangerment.
