NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Nashville-area man has been sentenced to more than 19 years in prison on child pornography charges.
Richard Steven Brown, 49, of Hermitage was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Aleta Trauger for transportation of child pornography and receipt of child pornography. He had pleaded guilty to the charges in June.
Prosecutors said Tuesday that Brown had been transmitting child pornography electronically through e-mail since August 2004. Videos and images showed prepubescent children, some as young as infants.
