NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Monday morning police were investigating two separate deadly shooting incidents.
The first shooting happened just after midnight Sunday morning in the parking lot of the Al Menah Shriner's Temple on Brick Church Pike. A fight broke out inside the building and quickly moved out to the parking lot.
According to a police report, 27-year-old Travis Otey and 29-year-old Stephane Collier got into a fight during a party inside the building. Police said that Collier shot and killed Otey and wounded a third man, 54-year-old Lawrence Ballentine. Police said that Collier then shot and killed himself.
The other incident happened just 15 minutes later and only five miles away. Police said a man got into an argument with his girlfriend at a house on Gwen Street.
Investigators said 20-year-old Brandon Watson shot and killed 19-year-old Audra McCullough. Watson then went outside and shot himself.
Watson survived, but he was listed in critical condition Sunday at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
