Police: Suspect Arrested After Regions Bank Robbery

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - A midstate bank robbery suspect was behind bars Tuesday morning after leading police on a two county police chase.

Clarksville Police arrested 32-year-old Ronald Bartlett, Jr., after he robbed the Regions Bank on Riverside Drive. Police said Bartlett handed the teller a note demanding money and motioned that he was armed.

The 32-year-old got away with some cash, but a witness followed him and gave police a description of his getaway car.

Police caught up with Bartlett at a local gas station, and after a pursuit into Cheatham County, the suspect spun out his car and was arrested.
