NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Hundreds of friends and family said goodbye to Loren Johnson, the teenager who was shot and killed by a stray bullet while inside her home.

Last Saturday the sophomore at Hunter's Lane High School was sitting in her bedroom reading when her family said a stray bullet hit her.

She later died in her mother's arms.

"She was so sweet. She was so nice. Oh my gosh - I can't believe she's gone," said friend Monique Taylor.

In an effort to find the shooters, police asked students at local high schools to text in tips.

"I hope they find it deep in the hearts to tell it. Come on, we lost a good person here and no body is telling. That's not right," said friend Shanice Rutledge.

As of Thursday, police said there have been very few tips reported.

Loren's family asked instead of flowers, to donate to a memorial fund set up at any Regions bank location.
