Lightning Strikes 8-Year-Old In Church

FAIRVIEW, Tenn. - Lightning was blamed for injuring a young girl in Williamson County.

Authorities said the 8-year-old was hurt when lightning ran into her church and through an electronic device. It happened at the Berean Free Will Baptist Church in Fairview.

The girl's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
