3 Teens Lead Police On 2 County High Speed Chase

Posted:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Thursday around 2 a.m. an Ashland City police officer said a 2005 Ford Focus driving at 58 mph on Highway 12 sped up to 71 mph after spotting his squad car.

The officer tried to pull the car carrying three teens over, but he ended up pursuing the stolen vehicle in a high speed chase into Davidson County. The Ashland City police officer said he lost the car once the chase reached East Nashville, so Metro police got involved.

At Granada Avenue and Gallatin Pike South police were finally able to apprehend the two males and one female, after they drove the car off a loading dock and tried to escape on foot.

The teens were sent back to Ashland City to face charges.
