NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A West Nashville woman said she was thankful to be alive Friday morning, after being hit by a stray bullet inside her home overnight.
The shooting happened shortly before midnight in the 4600 block of Georgia Avenue.
Police said they believe someone was firing shots from the streets and struck the woman's home. A car parked outside on the street was also hit.
It's not clear whether there was an intended target.
The woman's injuries are not life-threatening.
So far, no arrests have been made in this case.
