
Hermitage, Tenn. - Metro police said an everyday argument turned deadly at a bar overnight.
Around 10 p.m. Sunday night at the Double E Bar & Grill on Lebanon Pike, two men started a verbal argument inside the bar. Both men were kicked out of the establishment and took their fight into the parking lot.
The fight in the parking lot escalated, and a man in his early 50s was stabbed and killed.
Metro police said emergency officials took the victim to the hospital where he later died.
The owner of the Double E Bar & Grill said nothing like this has ever happened before, and he also said he was not familiar with the victim.
Metro police said they were interviewing witnesses to see if the stabbing was possibly the result of self-defensive
No arrests have been made.
