NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A fight between at least two men turned violent overnight.
The fight started just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, and not long afterward police found a homeless man with a knife and a cut to his upper body near the Sheraton Hotel on Union Street. Then just a few minutes after that, police found another man who'd been cut on his hand on Capitol Boulevard.
Both men were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
During the course of their investigation, police determined that the homeless man pulled out a knife to defend himself from possibly two other men who were beating and kicking him.
Thursday morning, police were still investigating.
