Crystal Gayle Being Honored With Hollywood Star

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Singer Crystal Gayle will get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this Friday.

Gayle has been voted female vocalist three times by the Academy of Country Music and twice by the Country Music Association. She also won a Grammy for her signature song, "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue."

Gayle is the younger sister of country legend Loretta Lynn. For more on Gayle visit www.crystalgayle.com.

The singer's star will be the 2,390th star at the location. Country singer Tanya Tucker will be a guest speaker.
