NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A suspected drunk driver was behind bars Tuesday for allegedly knocking down a light pole early in the morning.
According to reports, an officer saw the driver hit the pole at the corner of 3rd Avenue North and Commerce Street just before 3 a.m. Tuesday and then take off.
Police stopped the driver a short time later and arrested him.
NES workers were called out to fix the pole.
No one was hurt.
