DRESDEN, Tenn. (AP) - A suspected serial rapist in West Tennessee has been arraigned and will be back in court Jan. 7.
Thirty-5-year-old Bruce Tuck of Gleason was arraigned Thursday by Circuit Court Judge Bill Acree.
Tuck, jailed without bond since September, is charged with 22 criminal counts related to three rapes this year in Martin.
Prosecutors say Tuck also is a suspect in other rapes reported in Shelby County although he has not been charged with those crimes.
He was ordered to undergo a 30-day mental evaluation. Tuck was indicted Monday in the Martin cases.
