PULASKI, Tenn. - Authorities in Giles County have arrested and charged a second 18-year-old suspect in the murder of a Pulaski family last month.
Matthew Wood faces three counts of first degree murder. Authorities believe he and 18-year-old William Angel murdered Desere Thornton and her two sons, 16-year-old Jerrod and 9-year-old Anthony.
Their bodies were discovered inside their burnt home in October. Authorities said both Wood and Angel were both equally responsible for the brutal killings.
Police said Wood was seriously injured trying to set the fire and had to be hospitalized before his arrest.
