NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The state mourned the loss of Don Spain Monday, a staple in Tennessee politics.
Spain, the longtime producer and host of the weekly TV show "Legislative Report," died Sunday morning.
Spain’s family said the 71-year-old collapsed at home in Nashville.
"Legislative Report" could be seen every week since 1983 on public television. Spain covered the state legislature and every move state lawmakers made.
Spain leaves behind a wife and son.
