CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - Investigators have the diary of a nurse accused of shooting her ex-husband, a chiropractor, at his Signal Mountain clinic and the defense attorney is asking to see it.
Police reports say that 41-year-old Tina Marie Loher walked in Terrance "Terry" Loher's chiropractic office on July 11 and shot him in the leg as their two young daughters waited in her car.
Records show an entry in the former wife's diary indicates she believed he was "demonic-filled."
The accused woman is being held on a $600,000 bond, charged with attempted murder and reckless endangerment of the children. Her attorney told the Chattanooga Times Free Press at a Tuesday hearing that she is trying to obtain the diary as part of the discovery process in the case. Another hearing is set for Dec. 15.
