Suspect Wanted For Clarksville Murder Found In Chicago

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A Clarksville man wanted on homicide charges has been arrested in Chicago.

Officials said Dominick Shon Dre Hodges, age 21, was involved in the July 22, 2009 murder of a robbery victim. Hodges and another man reportedly entered the A&W Motel on Madison Street in Clarksville and demanded money.

The victim was shot and killed.

Hodges was placed on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Top Ten Most Wanted list in August 2009.

According to a media release issued by the TBI, Hodges was arrested by the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force at an apartment in Chicago, Illinois. He was taken into custody without incident.

Officials said Hodges had a criminal record in Tennessee, Kentucky and Illinois, which includes rape of a child and drug charges.

Hodges was being held in the Cook County Jail in Chicago awaiting extradition for first degree murder.
