Tennessee Roads Rank High Among Professional Drivers

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Despite all of the construction, truckers still rank Tennessee roads at the top.

In fact, I-40 in Tennessee has been named the "Best Roadway in America" for a fourth time.

Truckers also rated the state's overall roadway system the third best in the nation for the eleventh year in a row. Tennesseans were ranked as the third best drivers in the nation.

"It's a pleasant drive through there. The road surface is good and they use a lot of blacktop," said one truck driver. "They keep it up well."
